About Karen

Karen is a counselor and the clinical supervisor at Priestley Mental Health. As a clinician, Karen focuses on a humanistic, solution approach. She feels the therapeutic relationship is key in helping clients identify needed change. Karen says, "I believe the client is the expert in their own lives and that my part in the therapeutic process is to help identify the knowledge already being utilized (a client-centered, strength perspective), support and educate, and aid in recognizing what's already working. Together we create goals a work to achieve them."
